A new garage door is a system, not just a set of panels, and the quality of the installation decides how it runs for years. First we take the opening, headroom and side-room measurements, then help you choose a door that suits the house: insulated steel, raised-panel, flush or carriage-style. Insulated doors weigh more than bare steel ones, so the weight of the finished door sets the spring size.
Springs are sized to the actual door, because DASMA warns that a spring applied to a door heavier than its specification shortens life and can create a safety problem. We set the tracks into solid framing, seal the perimeter and the threshold, install or reconnect the opener, and test the balance and the auto-reverse. The old door leaves with us.

An insulated door with a good perimeter seal slows heat loss into the garage. Weight is the trade-off: foam-core sections are heavier, so the springs are sized to the finished door rather than to the door it replaces.
